Enemies [Brinstar]

Zoomer
Enemies come in two types: strong red ones that move along floors while emitting slime from their feet, and weaker yellow ones.

Mella
They move in groups and can pass through rocks and walls. They can be defeated with a single shot from the normal beam. They are the weakest in this area.

They leap out of the lava and then fall back into it. They cannot be defeated with the normal beam.

Nova
Covered in sharp heat-resistant fur all over its body, it crawls along floors and walls. It can be defeated with one missile. However, with the Normal Beam, it requires two shots for the blue ones and four for the yellow ones.

Ripper II
The Ripper, which appears on rock surfaces, has evolved further. It now emits fire from its rear and flies at high speed. Although its movement and shape remain the same, its speed has increased.

A single-celled organism that flies around, bouncing off walls. It's quite a formidable foe as it bounces around unpredictably, making it difficult to defeat. It's tough to take down with the regular beam, so power up before battling it. You can defeat it with one missile.

They have skin that emits high heat and fly around by releasing internal energy. They're quite formidable foes, especially the red ones, so be cautious. They have the strongest attack power in this area.

Enemies [Kraid's Lair]

Memu
They can pass through rocks and walls. Be cautious as they often come in groups to attack Samus. They are the weakest enemies in the room, so make sure to defeat them without fail.

They swoop down from the ceiling using their large wings as drills to attack Samus. Be cautious of the rock debris when they burrow into the ground.

Unlike the real Kraid, this imitation has much weaker defense and can be defeated with just one missile or a slight attack from the Screw Attack.

The primary enemy in Mini-boss Room I. It shoots horns from its belly and spins horns from its back. It has strong attack power, and getting hit can drain a significant amount of energy, so be cautious.

Enemies [Ridley's Lair]

Zebbo
Emerging from ventilation ducts, these enemies can be defeated with one shot for the blue ones and two shots for the yellow ones. They are the weakest enemies in the room.

Holtz
Emerging from the ceiling, these armored Gerudas attack Samus and then retreat back to the ceiling. They wield two horns as weapons. They can be defeated with several shots from the Normal Beam or one missile.

Multiviola
They appear on the fiery surface, moving swiftly, so be cautious. It's believed that Mother Brain has infused life into the melted rocks due to high temperatures. They possess the same attack power as Holts and Dessgeegas in the same room, making them formidable enemies.

Viola
They cannot fly and instead crawl on the ground. They are the larvae of Multiviola. The blue ones can be defeated with two shots from the Normal Beam, while the yellow ones require four shots. However, both can be taken down with just one missile.

Dessgeega
They repeatedly jump towards Samus while attacking. They possess strong offensive capabilities, second only to mini-bosses. They can be defeated with several shots from the Normal Beam or just one missile.

The boss of the Room Ⅱ. It jumps into the air and breathes fire. It's a native creature of Planet Zebes, controlled by Mother Brain.

Enemies [Tourian]

Rinka
A fireball-like entity suddenly appears in the final area of the game. It continuously spews out fireballs, but its attack power isn't that strong.

Metroid larva
A floating lifeform discovered on planet SR388. It attaches to Samus's body and drains energy. While it recoils when attacked with beams, it cannot be defeated! However, it can be frozen with the ICE Beam and then defeated with a few missiles.

They are attached to walls or ceilings and fire small projectiles at Samus to protect Mother Brain.

Zebetite
It is the energy source necessary for Mother Brain's life support. It does not attack but to destroy it, multiple missiles need to be continuously fired. It has a self-repair function and will fully restore itself over time.

Mother Brain
The central hub of the Space Pirate stronghold, "Planet Zebes." It serves as a breeding ground for Metroids with the aim of universal conquest. Zebetite serves as the energy source. While it's referred to as a massive mechanical lifeform, its true nature remains unknown. Can you destroy Mother Brain and prevent the Metroids from further proliferation?
